Espresso Machine Servicing
We strongly recommend that you service your machine regularly as this can prevent more serious issues. A service at a time convenient for you can help prevent downtime due to failure.
Minor Service
Recommended every 6 months to keep things running smoothly
Major Service
Recommended every 12 months. Includes basic service +
Full Descale
Depending on your water quality and filtration, the boiler and its connectied pipework may become coated with limescale. Over time this will affect performance of the machine and if left too long it could lead to blockages and malfunctions. During your Major Service we will inspect the boiler for limescale and advise as to whether this is necessary.
Heavy scaling can be remedied through chemical solutions however for very bad scale deposits it may be necessary to have the vessel shot blasted. In either case, the boiler will need to be completely removed from the machine to carry out the procedure.
PSSR 2000 Safety Inspection
Your espresso machine should be tested and certified annually to meet the HSE Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000.
We can perform the inspection and supply you with the necessary documentation to ensure your business is compliant.
